Happy Birthday Pops!
June 12th was Joe's dad's birthday, and we had a fun family celebration over at Grandpa Hoffman's house. Grandpa has been at home now for about a month, since his short stay at Saint Mary's after a mild heart attack. He is going great and loves to still give his traditional handshake to all the boys and hugs to the girls. Cora and Melissa put together a nice dinner and we ate and played badminton. It was great to be in that backyard again. Joe has many wonderful memories of playing there when he was little. And placed right in the middle of town, with huge green trees all around, the sights and smells of Grandma and Grandpa's yard is really unmatched. I know Bob really enjoyed spending his birthday with his dad and sister, this is a birthday he won't soon forget I'm sure.
