I realize that I might sound a little crazy for doing swim lessons in the middle of winter, but it is something we've done since JR was 6 mo. It gives us something to do on these long winter nights. This week we started Emily's first session of Mommy and Me classes, and JR started Preschool class...no Mommies in the pool. This picture shows his greatest success, interacting with the other kids and the teacher. Roughly 95% of the time JR sits on the steps sucking his thumb. Oh boy! He really does do a lot in the pool, but this is his first experience with a real teacher. His fears are eased by his Papa who kneels by the side of the pool boosting his confidence so he can show a little something to the teacher when it is his turn. It will all work out, he is the youngest in the class and totally confident when it is free time. More pictures and video to follow soon.
