We made our annual trip to Apple Hill this past weekend. This year unfortunately not all our Hoffman clan could go, so it was just Melissa, Austin, Little Joe, Joe and myself. Though it was just the 5 of us we still had a great time. The weather was a little warm, and the crowds were present but the feeling of Autumn was all around. The trees were in full change of colors and you could smell the apples everywhere you went. We started this trip at High Hill and then made our traditional stop at Rainbow Market for fresh apple cider doughnuts (between Melissa and me we got 10 dozen... no shame here!) We got some craft-fair gazing in, pumpkin picking, apple buying, and of course a horse ride. JR was totally into seeing and watching the horses and ponies, but as soon as his little tush hit the saddle the tears started flowing, so we'll give it a go next year.
