At the end of July, just before school started, Joe and I decided we needed a weekend away. This time we took JR and Austin. We had a fun kid centered weekend in San Fran. Austin was so great with JR and they both had a blast.
A stop to play at the beach was a must. Baker Beach is our favorite sea side stop. Austin and Joe played frisbee for a long time, and JR loved playing in the sand.
This was a first for me... We took a ride on the Red & White fleet. JR slept most of the ride, but we enjoyed the ride out around the Golden Gate Bridge.
You can not go to the city and skip Ghiridelli. JR was a show stopper eating his first Ghiridelli ice-cream. People were literally stopping and saying how cute he was, not that he noticed, he was elbow deep in ice-cream and chocolate.
We started our trip by going to the Exploratorium. Austin and JR had so much fun with all the hands on activities. Austin loved playing with these huge bubbles.
